Billing, trial, and plans
Check your plan status in Billing.
Plans at a glance
- Trial: 30 days of full access.
- Premium: unlimited documents and all Paperarchive features.
- Free: up to 100 documents with basic organization.
What happens after trial
If payment succeeds, you keep full access. If payment fails, you enter a grace period with read only access. During grace period you can upgrade, or switch to Free and keep your 100 most recent documents.
Free plan limit
Free accounts can keep 100 documents. Once you reach the limit, new uploads pause, but your documents stay fully available. If you are over the limit (for example after your trial), extra documents are locked, not deleted. You can unlock everything by upgrading, or move documents you no longer need to the trash and empty it.
Paperarchive emails you when you reach 80% and when you reach 100% of the limit, each time with the link to Billing.
Upgrading and changing your plan
You upgrade to Premium on the web at app.paperarchive.io/billing. You can also change or cancel your plan there at any time.
Using the iPhone or Android app? The apps cannot sell plans and do not link to the purchase either, as Apple's and Google's rules require. They show your plan and usage under Settings > Billing. To upgrade, sign in with the same account in your browser. Once the upgrade is done, the app unlocks automatically, without an update and without signing in again.
Manage subscription
Use the Billing page on the web to open the customer portal and update payment details. You can also cancel or change your plan from there.
